I found a post on Pinterest that caught my eye. It was for heart shaped valentines made from melted crayon.
This is a great rainy day project and a wonderful way to make use of all those broken crayons the kids can't seem to part with!
Here's how you make them:
1.) Have the kids gather up all their broken crayons.
2.) Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.
3.) Break the crayons into quarter inch pieces.
4.) Fill each cup of a silicon oven safe cupcake mold to 3/4 full.
5.) Place in the oven for apx. 15 min.
6.) Carefully remove from oven and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or so.
7.) Remove from the refrigerator and turn mold upside down. The crayons will easily come out just by gently pushing each cup inside out.
8.) Enjoy your new crayons!
